Getting your wine home

Toothpaste200 The San Jose Mercury News ran a short article today on how to transport wine. In light of the recent heightened security at airports, this is certainly relevant.

The 'Merc goes on to say that you should use a "Styrofoam-insulated wine box". While we appreciate that Styrofoam can do the job, there are other options.

At Twisted we use wine boxes with fibreboard inserts made from recycled materials. These inserts do as good a job as Styrofoam in the insulation and protection department, they are less bulky, AND best of all they are easier to recycle.

For you Twisted Twavellers, if you are visiting us and you need packing boxes to send your wine (and perhaps toothpaste) home, just ask. We'll even arrange shipping and make sure your wine leaves our place at the last possible moment so it stays cool and safe.

We know that your first instinct is to carefully shepherd your Twisted Tweasures all the way home, but they weren't going to let you stuff 13 cases in the overhead anyway...
